Today, Mr. Christmas and I are back to our empty nest. I am both sad and satisfied. I am also thinking about what I love about this time of year and how I can I make it last into the New Year. Here are a few ideas I have:
One thing that's not making the list: Eat sweets to my belly’s content. Ugh. I am ready to come off all the excess sugar and get back in touch with the veggies that make me feel a whole lot better. They are true friends. They care about me and want what’s best for me. Speaking of true friends … I want to give a heartfelt thanks to all of you who have encouraged me to keep on sharing my ideas at Rock Your Chores. My tribe may be tiny, but you mean the world to me. I am finding bliss in the writing and growing, and if my goofy mind games and ideas are at all helpful that’s all I need to keep going in 2019. Just yesterday, my brother texted me that my niece was playing the “Mow the Lawn” game in her room. She wanted me to know she was rocking her chores, and I couldn’t have been happier. Tech trouble? I’ve heard from a couple people that they signed up for the RYC newsletter, but I haven’t seen their names show up on my subscribers list. If you thought you signed up but have never gotten an email from rockyourchores@gmail.com, please let me know. Let’s get you on the list! So this would be super great of you ... If you haven't signed up, please give it a go and let me know in the comments below. That will help my IT department (ha, that's me) know if the subscriber box is working as it should. It's at right on a computer or below on mobile devices.
